CHILLINIT DROPS HIS LATEST SINGLE “HENNY & REEFER”
Chillinit is back with his creative bars and flows in his latest single “Henny & Reefer”. Originally teased on Chillinit’s instagram, the high energy banger dropped last Tuesday after the post reached over 2,000 comments in under 24 hours. Produced by JAEN, the track has a deep NYC drill sound, With a violin to lead the melody and various percussion and sound effects adding depth, intrigue and character. While the creative yet simple 808 bassline compliments the lead and drives to beat straight out of the speakers.
The music video is one of Chillinit’s best yet, with an insanely high production value and interesting story line that captivates and demands the viewers attention. With cinematography by Aaron Bull and production plus direction by Jon Baxter, the video is extremely well shot and edited. The clip shows scenes ranging from Chillinit hanging out of a helicopter to spitting a verse in the middle of a soccer pitch mid game. Also managing to one up himself in terms of lyrical content and ad-libs from his previous releases by a significant amount. Featuring a multitude of choppy and syllable heavy flow schemes and cadences this track is a stern reminder to everyone who forgot what Chillinit was all about.
