Complete Announces 13-Date Australian Tour With Omac and Kryple
Perth rapper Complete has confirmed a 13-show national tour for May and June, spanning metro and regional venues across Australia. The run, presented by Move Over Records, TPW, and MBA, marks his first tour in over a year and features supporting sets from Omac and Kryple.
The tour opens in Bunbury on May 15 before moving through Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Geelong. From there, Complete takes the run regional, with shows locked in for Ballarat, Newcastle, Canberra, Maroochydore, Brisbane, Devonport, and Hobart. The Sydney date lands on June 5 at Mary’s Underground.
A Touring Circuit Built for Independent Hip-Hop
The venue list reflects the infrastructure now supporting independent hip-hop nationally. Established metro rooms like Mary’s Underground and The Night Cat sit alongside regional stops such as Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide and Pub Rock Diner in Devonport, pointing to the breadth of Australian venues consistently programming local rap. That touring circuit exists because artists have proven demand beyond capital cities, and Complete’s ability to book rooms in Ballarat and Maroochydore reflects that continued growth.
Complete’s positioning within Perth’s scene gives the tour added weight. The city’s rap output over the past decade has produced artists capable of drawing national attention without relying on east coast visibility, and Complete has been part of that shift. A year-long gap between tours is notable for an artist with his profile, and this return suggests momentum worth sustaining.
The inclusion of Omac and Kryple adds further context. Both artists share creative networks and performance histories with Complete, framing the run as a crew-oriented tour rather than a solo headline push. That approach has become standard within Australia’s independent hip-hop circuit, where shared lineups help distribute costs while consolidating audiences.
Perth Roots and National Reach
The broader availability of home-grown rap shows continues to expand. What was once limited to sporadic capital city dates has evolved into a functioning national touring circuit where independent artists can move regionally without major label backing. Complete’s tour forms part of that larger shift, enabled by incremental audience growth, venue support, and groundwork laid by earlier acts willing to test smaller markets.
